A daily reset is a short checkpoint, not a second workday. The purpose is to reduce drift. I want a repeatable way to notice what happened, close open loops, and choose the next useful action.

The version I am testing is intentionally small:

  • Review the calendar and tasks for five minutes.
  • Write one sentence about what went well.
  • Write one sentence about what needs repair.
  • Choose the first meaningful action for tomorrow.

The value is not the template. The value is the repeated pause. When the pause happens daily, patterns become easier to see.

The rule is simple: if the reset becomes heavy, reduce it until it is easy enough to keep.
